Oluwatomisin Obajemu

My name is Oluwatomisin (Tomisin), and I am a Human-Centered Computing PhD student with a Computer Science background at the University of Florida, where I am advised by Dr. Kristy Elizabeth Boyer.

My work lies at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction and Computer Science Education. My research centers on integrating artificial intelligence into pre-collegiate education through natural language processing (NLP) as well as developing pedagogical agents to improve resilience among middle school students engaged in block-based programming.

In my previous work, I developed online safety interventions with adolescents through participatory design. I have also explored gesture interactions and applications of augmented reality, wearable technologies, and spherical interfaces.
